Cyrano de Bergerac (conosciuto in Italia anche come Cirano di Bergerac) è una celebre commedia teatrale in cinque atti pubblicata nel 1897 dal poeta drammatico francese Edmond Rostand (1868-1918) e ispirata alla figura storica di Savinien Cyrano de Bergerac, uno dei più estrosi scrittori del seicento francese, precursore della letteratura fantascientifica.

Il Cyrano di Rostand fu rappresentato per la prima volta il 28 dicembre di quello stesso 1897 al Théâtre de la Porte-Sain-Martin di Parigi, avendo come protagonista un celebre attore del tempo, Benoît-Constant Coquelin, lo stesso che glielo aveva commissionato. Rostand lo scrisse a cinque anni di distanza dalla clamorosa bocciatura, avvenuta appunto nel 1892, di un suo precedente (e primo in assoluto) lavoro in versi, Le deus Pierrots, espressamente scritto per la Comédie-Française.
