Allí confiaba en poder recuperar la libertad y la dignidad perdidas, y con ellas reparar de camino el descalabro de mi hacienda y mi buen nombre. El nombre de una familia patricia, sin mácula, que una conjura de hombres aprovechados había querido destruir. Sí, Roma tenía una deuda conmigo y había llegado el momento de reclamársela.
