He Knows Not How: Growing in Freedom
Diéguez, Julio

The title of this book takes its inspiration from Mark 4:27, where the Lord points out that the seed of the Christian life, which He himself has sown in our souls, grows and develops beyond what we are capable of perceiving. It does not grow against our freedom or apart from it. No, it grows precisely through our freedom.

Christians have to back up God’s action freely. The effects of that free action will go far beyond what any of us could produce on our own or even imagine. We are transformed into Christ, through grace. We may “know not how” it happens, but we do know that it does not happen without free cooperation.
