Divergent is the debut novel of American novelist Veronica Roth, published by HarperCollins Children’s Books in 2011. It is a young-adult dystopian novel set in the so-called Divergent Universe, that features a post-apocalyptic (More) version of Chicago. The novel follows Beatrice “Tris” Prior as she explores her identity within a society that defines its citizens by their social and personality-related affiliation with five different factions. Protagonist Thomas (More) is brought into a place known as the Glade, with no memories except of his name. He and other teenage boys call themselves Gladers, and have made a community in which each is assigned to a task belonging to different departments headed by a Keeper. The Glade is surrounded by a gigantic Maze in which mechanical creatures called Grievers roam at night. Huge doors around the Glade close at sunset. Supplies are brought to the Glade every week; whereas a new boy is sent through an elevator called the Box once every month. The Scorch Trials is the second book—preceded by the 2009 novel The Maze Runner—in a young-adult dystopian science fiction trilogy by James Dashner. With The Death Cure (2011) finish the trilogy.
Thomas and the other Gladers have (More) escaped the maze and are put into a dormitory. The next day, the Gladers are in another dormitory, and people called Cranks are moaning and screaming through the windows of the room. The Gladers leave the room, only to find dead bodies hanging from the ceiling, and later find that Teresa, the only girl in their group, has gone missing. Thomas tries to find her with his friends Minho and Newt; instead, they find a boy named Aris, who says that he was in another Maze before with all girls, referred to as Group B, and woke here. The Gladers discover they are all marked with tattoos and titles: Minho is “the Leader,” Newt “the Glue,” and Thomas “To Be Killed By Group B.”

The Death Cure is a 2011 young-adult dystopian science fiction novel by James Dashner and the third book in the Maze Runner Trilogy. It was first published in hardback on October 11, 2011 through Delacorte Press and was preceded (More) by The Maze Runner and The Scorch Trials.
After the events of The Scorch Trials, protagonist Thomas is held in solitary confinement, but is eventually released. He, along with some others, soon learns from Assistant Director Janson that the claim of a cure for the Flare (a deadly disease) was a lie. However, while many of the people present are immune, not all are, and many in the outside world despise the immune. The Gladers are offered the chance to restore their memories, and it is also revealed that the controlling device in their brains will be removed in the process. This means that Thomas, Teresa, and Aris will no longer be able to communicate telepathically. Most accept the procedure except Thomas, Minho, and Newt, who are later forced into the process but escape with the help of Brenda. It is revealed that Newt is not immune to the Flare.

The Distant Hours is the third novel by Australian author Kate Morton.
The book begins with arrival of a letter, sent during the Second World War, to a small house on Central London in 1992. Edith Burchill (Edie), a young woman (More) working as an editor in a small family-run publishing firm, is visiting her mother Meredith when the letter arrives. Their relationship has never been close, and Edie is shocked by her mother’s emotional reaction. She explains that has a child she was evacuated to Kent during the war. She was taken in by three sisters who lived in their grand, ancestral home of Milderhurst Castle.
Some months later, Edie is driving back from meeting a client and finds herself in the village of Milderhurst. She is immediately entranced by the castle, and remembers having been brought to the gates by her mother when she was very young. She discovers that Milderhurst Castle was the home of the author of her favourite childhood book, “The True History of the Mud Man”, and that his youngest daughter was driven mad by being abandoned by her fiancé. She impulsively decides to stay the night and go for a tour of the castle the next day, led by one of the sisters.

Allegiant is a science fiction novel for young adults, written by the American author Veronica Roth and published by HarperCollins in October 2013. It completes the Divergent trilogy that Roth inaugurated with her debut novel (More) Divergent in 2011. The book is written from the perspective of both Beatrice (Tris) and Tobias (Four).
The background to the story, revealed in the first novel of the trilogy, explains how a ruined Chicago in the near future is divided into five separate factions. They are Abnegation, meant to uphold selflessness, Amity, meant to uphold peacefulness, Candor, meant to uphold honesty, Dauntless, meant to uphold bravery, and Erudite, meant to uphold knowledge. The Client (1993) is a legal thriller written by American author John Grisham, set mostly in Memphis, Tennessee and New Orleans, Louisiana. It is Grisham’s fourth novel.
The novel begins when eleven-year-old Mark Sway and his (More) younger brother, Ricky, are in the woods near the mobile home park they live in with their mother, Dianne. A man driving a Cadillac arrives by where they are smoking cigarettes. W. Jerome “Romey” Clifford, a 44-year-old lawyer from New Orleans, Louisiana, gets out. A continuación, se explica la historia de la primera (More) edición del texto original, acompañada de algunos comentarios crítico-históricos. La tercera parte recoge los Índices originales, presentes desde la edición princeps de 1973. Finalmente se incluyen diversos Apéndices, de carácter informativo.
